Workplace Safety and Health Guidance 

This Guidance is effective from January 30 2020 for all employees and visitors at GATE Sports Agency to minimize the exposures or risks to COVID-19 according to the Announcement No. OSHA 2-1091004580 dated on January 30 2020 by Occupational Safety and Health Administration, ministry of Labor, Taiwan ROC.

All employees and visitors are requested to follow the necessary countermeasures below for workplace safety and health in preventing any risks caused by COVID-19.

  1. All employees and visitors shall take and record their body temperatures before they enter GATE Sport office (Hereinafter “office”).

  2. Any employees or visitors are prohibited to stay in office once their personal body temperatures reach 37.5°C or they have any COVID-19 syndromes.

  3. All employees and visitors shall sanitize their hands with cleansing alcohol near the office entrance before entering office. All employees shall wash hands carefully with soaps before lunches.

  4. All employees and visitors shall wear face masks in office or to keep social distancing of 1.5 meters with others.

  5. Office administrator shall prepare face masks in sufficient for all employees and visitors. Any employees and visitors may contact office administers for new face masks.

  6. Office administrator are requested to sterilize office every day.

  7. Office administrator shall keep office or meeting rooms clean and well ventilated.

  8. All tools and gadgets shall be sterilized by cleansing alcohol spray before using. 

  9. Any employees or visitors arrived Taiwan without 14-day quarantine are prohibited to enter our office.

  10. The office will be closed for 14 days and all employees are requested to work from home once any employees or visitors are the confirmed cases of COVID-19.

When the outbreak first started in January, some experts predicted that Taiwan would have the highest number of cases outside of mainland China. In fact, Taiwan's number of COVID-19 infections is currently below 500 (updated on July 28th). Not only Taiwan's sporting games are still playing, we also have normal life in Taiwan. However in order to protect our employees safety, GATE Sports Agency is committed to follow our CDC’s workplace safety and health guidance.
