Mike is an NBA trainer who has collaborated with numerous high-profile players and is also a member of an NBA development league team's coaching staff. For him, the most precious experience is being a part of the coaching staff, focusing on the players' development and the games.
With over eight years of experience as a coach and trainer, Mike deeply understands that 99% of the players' efforts go unnoticed by fans and media. People rarely pay attention to the long, tedious, and hard work that players put in off the court, day in and day out. However, without these 99% of efforts, the 1% of effort and performance on the court wouldn't be visible to others.

GATE and Mike Atkinson are collaborating to create a top-tier training brand in Asia, utilizing the four key pillars of NSTNCT. They are designing a series of training content specifically for basketball coaches who aspire to become trainers. The ultimate goal is to have approximately 40 participants taking part in the training program.

In March 2023, the Chinese Basketball Association held its first-ever basketball technical training workshop, co-organized by GATE Sports Agency. This training event served as the inaugural program for obtaining the technical trainer certification in Taiwan.

Starting with basic stretching as the training's foundation, we design individualized training plans for each player, incorporating diverse training modes such as offense, defense, physical strength, and bodyweight exercises. This wide range of training methods has proven highly beneficial, allowing the players to greatly benefit from the program!

Assistant coach for the Indonesian national men's basketball team
Coach L, who served as the assistant coach for the Indonesian national men's basketball team from 2020 to 2022, is currently the head coach of ABL team Louvre Indonesia. With a wealth of coaching experience, Coach L was invited in May 2023 to conduct a basketball exchange program with the men's basketball team of National Taiwan University of Sport.
With a coaching career spanning 30 years across high school, college, NBA, and international leagues, he holds a personal NCAA head coaching career win-loss record of .589. Possessing numerous years of coaching experience, he has also conducted basketball training camps in various countries. Bobby has future plans to pursue development in Taiwan!
